USTEKINUMAB (STELARA)
Ustekinumab is one of the biologic medicines that blocks the immune pathway that causes inflammation in Crohn's disease. It is given IV for the first dose and after that by injections. Side effects are possible increased infections, some severe; neurological problems with a potential risk for cancer.
