COLLEGE CONSIDERATIONS

Students who have IBD (even if it's mild) need to register with the disabilities office to take advantage of the benefits offered by the school's 504 plan. Those going for the first time may also need to be reminded that they are going to be exposed to others from various backgrounds, with different ideas and habits. In addition to attending their classes, they also need

  • Adequate sleep
  • To follow the healthy diet they are on Patient experience Natalie –college
  • Good hydration
  • To take their medicines
  • Immunizations to protect them from diseases, like pneumonia, meningitis, measles and hepatitis that can easily spread through close contact with others in their dormitory and classes.
  • A reminder that
